Team Motorcoach

Just as soon as most owners have returned to paradise and are able to enjoy our Oasis Grill, the deep fryer died on us. I ordered a new one but it will not be here until the following weekend at the earliest. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The Oasis Grill will be in operation during Owners Week. This will be the last time it is open for the season, reopening on April 1st, 2024. But, of course, we cannot go too long without James and Lynn cooking for everyone, so we are in discussion on offering a dinner meal, for a nominal fee, once, maybe twice a month. We will keep everyone updated on that.

The pickleball courts will be shut down on Tuesday October 31st at 10am. The contractor will be returning to inspect the bird baths and roots. There is a possibility that the courts may be shut down for the rest of the week. This will be determined on Tuesday, we do not want to interfere with Owners Week. We will keep everyone posted.

I would like to remind everyone that personal vehicle parking is on your pad ONLY. Do not park on vacant lots. If your pad cannot accommodate 2 vehicles, please park at the clubhouse.

Rules:

Only one coach and one passenger vehicle may occupy a lot unless the pad is large enough to accommodate two cars fully on the pad in front of the coach without encroaching on grass/garden areas. Owners may leave a car on their lot without a motorcoach for up to six weeks by obtaining a permit from the office.

Parking cars on unoccupied lots is prohibited.

We have several feral cats in phase 4 and 5. We are aware of them and are working on having them removed. We have placed many calls and we keep getting the runaround. One department said they would be out to assist us with them, but their timeline is a couple of weeks.

The November 1^st Monthly Zoom Meeting is Cancelled.

There is nothing new to report on the SIPSD Deep Well Project and nobody has submitted topics for discussion.

November 11^th Board Meeting and Q&A Session following the Board Meeting

The Board Meeting on November 11^th will be held at 1:00 in the upstairs clubhouse. It will also be available via zoom for those attending off-site. The agenda and zoom login information will be published in next Friday’s “Postings from Paradise.” As reminder, if you are attending via zoom, you must login using your full name, not a phone number or a nickname, etc. We must be able to confirm that you are an HHIMR owner.

Immediately following the board meeting will be a Question & Answer Session. All owners are encouraged to attend both the Board Meeting and the Q&A Session. We will do our best to provide answers and if we can’t answer your questions on the spot, we will provide the answers in a future “Postings from Paradise.” To ensure a cooperative session, we thank you for adhering to the following guidelines:

· Each lot is limited to 2 questions or comments;

· Each question/comment is limited to a maximum of 2 minutes;

· If you will be attending the Q&A session via zoom and wish to ask a question or make a comment, please submit it via the direct line prior to Nov. 11^th. In the subject line, reference that it is for the Q&A session and be sure to reference your name and lot number, and we will include it during the session.

Happy Friday!

The mailroom is almost done being painted. Some overhang painting is left on the mailroom and office. There are some new plants under the office windows. New planters will be added to the entrance doors of the office next week. Pics will be shared next week.

With the cooler weather coming, please consider changing your irrigation timer, Fewer days and shorter watering times. If you are not in the resort, please email me with instructions and I will take care of it.

The gate for the dumpsters will be changed next week. The access door will be available again. It’s the same gate with the bar at the bottom so please watch your step. It will be painted a bright color. The fence and gate will still have the greenery screen on them. A sign will also be installed on the gate door.
