There have been concerns brought up recently surrounding Tarps and the Clubhouse Parking Lot. Below are the rules and regulations pertaining to them.

Covers Furniture covers and other covers shall be earth-tone colors including black.

a. All covers whether for car, furniture, bicycles, grill, heaters, outdoor kitchens must be specifically manufactured for the item it is covering (no tarps allowed).

Clubhouse Parking Lot

 The parking lot is intended for temporary (hourly) parking only.

 Motorcoaches, large trucks and trailers may not be parked in the parking lot.

 Temporary parking of guests, for up to two weeks, is allowed with a permit from the office.

 No covers may be placed on vehicles in the parking lot.

Terrence will be out in the resort next week visiting all sites for compliance. The parking lot should remain empty from 10pm – 7am daily unless you have obtained a parking permit from the office, which should be visible in the front window.

To all owners

I am pleased to report that today the resort acquired lot 138 from our friends, Tom and Sandy Snyder. We will miss them both.

This purchase is a business decision, shows our commitment to the resort and re-affirms the value of your decision to also purchase your own lot.

The resort will use this lot to house work campers and at a future date,  look at re-selling this lot when it is determined that the market is right to make a profit and that it does not directly compete with the owners who currently need to sell their lots.

I would also like to stress that owners are required to do their 90 day turn around.

Furthermore, sellers must get a waiver of first refusal right before transferring ownership of their lot.

As a matter of policy, I do not comment on social media posts, however the posts that this purchase was influenced by the buyers past relationship with the resort are false.

Sunday February 2nd, the main backflow and the backflow for the Clubhouse sprinkler system will be tested. The water to the resort will be turned off for about 2 hours. This a yearly test required by the town of HHI.

A large water leak was discovered near the dog wash and pool bath house. On Wednesday the leak was capped off so water could be turned on. The water needed to be turned off again on Thursday morning so the final repairs could be made. This was a 2″ and a 1″ line that was broken. Tree roots were the cause.

On Friday morning, the second leak that had to be repaired was at the edge of the road at Lot 215. Again the water had to be turned off to make the repairs. Roots again were the cause of the break.

Thank you Jay and John for getting the repairs done quickly.

Road valves for both areas are not functional. Every year we are replacing a group of road valves to help minimize the resort wide outages.
