I would like to wish everyone a wonderful holiday with their loved ones. Please be safe if you are traveling and make amazing memories! I will be out of the office Sunday through Thursday making my own memories with all 4 of my kids.

Thank you to the following owners for volunteering to assist with events/activities within the resort: Debbie Rockwood, Leah Smathers, Audra McMurray, and Dyan Leodora.

We are still facing a challenge with the crows destroying trash bags. If you do not have a trash pot at the end of your site, we request that you please purchase one. This will help contain the trash in one location versus spread around the roadway.

The kiosk has a defective player and the replacement is on order. This has been the root cause of the display screen flipping sideways at times. This is expected to be fixed the first week of January.

2025 POA DUES

As communicated at the Owners meeting, the 2025 quarterly POA dues are $875.00.

• If you are on Auto-Pay please remember to update the amount, or,
• If you pay by Credit Card, please fill out a new Authorization Form. (attached)

The due dates are:

• Q1 on January 1^st,
• Q2 on April 1^st,
• Q3 on July 1^st, and
• Q4 on October 1^st.

As stated on the invoice, quarterly payments are always due on the 1^st of each quarter, but because of the 30-day Grace Period, in some cases the due date on the invoice may appear as the 30^th of the month, which is the last day of the Grace Period.

The invoices will be emailed by the end of this week. Please note that the sender is:

“Intuit E-Commerce Service” <quickbooks@notification.intuit.com> DO NOT DISCARD emails from this sender.

In addition to the amount due for the current quarter, on the bottom of the invoice there is also the overall Account Balance which includes any past due amounts. All current and past-due amounts are due at the time the current invoice is due.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Similar to 2024 the available payment options are:

• Pay in person at the Front Office or the Island Financial Office
• Pay by mail sent to the Front Office at 133 Arrow Road HHI, SC 29928, or Island Financial at PO BOX 7096 HHI, SC 29928. (Both mailing addresses can be found on the invoice)
• Pay via ACH by using the link on the email the invoice came with. There is NO CHARGE for this payment.
• Pay via Online Banking from your personal of business bank account. There is NO CHARGE for this payment option, and it can be set up as Auto-Pay.
• Pay by Credit or Debit card. This option comes with a 3% convenience transaction fee. For 2025 the fee is $26.25. If you choose this option, you must sign a New 2025 Authorization Form (attached) and email to ‘barbara@islandfinancialhhi.com’

*SPECTRUM UPDATE*

Please re-scan your TV’s. Many channels have been updated.

Channels 15, 16 and 45 have been removed from our channel package.

Channels 43 and 50. If you have a TV that doesn’t support MPEG4 video, you will receive sound and no picture. 43 is TCM and 50 is Disney.

I will update you if the above channels that have been removed become available again.

PLM was here for the light kit on the south lake fountain. They have been replaced. The lake was also treated with the UV dye.

The dog station motion lights have been cleaned, repaired and/or replaced. There are 3 that still need to be done.

The exhaust hoods for the upstairs kitchen and Oasis Grill were cleaned this week.

The spa will be available starting on Saturday the 21st. The pool will remain closed a bit longer. Sweetwater is still working on chemical treatments. Once the pool is open, it will not be heated until March. The pool looks fantastic!

Let the fun times begin! We are excited to launch the HHIMR Activities Calendar in January. This is an owner driven effort in conjunction with the office. We will be implementing the use of the TeamReach App. TeamReach will make communication easy and allow for sending RSVPs, viewing latest updates and last-minute changes. You will also find the Activities Calendar on both the HHIMR Owners and Social Group FB pages and on the new kiosk. Printed copies will be available in the office and downstairs clubhouse.

All owners and guests are invited and encouraged to join the HHIMR Activities Group in TeamReach to get involved and suggest ideas. The calendar already includes scheduled dates/times for cornhole, game night, pickleball, monthly dinners/breakfasts and so much more.
