RENTAL INCENTIVE PAY-OUT
As announced at the Board meeting, the Board approved the increase of the rental incentive per diem from $5.00 to $10.00 retroactively effective January 1, 2024.
The checks/direct deposits for the incremental $5 retro portion of the incentive from 1-1-2024 thru 6/31/2024 period will be going out early next week. Please note that the rental incentive only applies to “nights stayed”.
The July statements will reflect the new $10 rental incentive per diem rate.
RESERVE YOUR LOT BEFORE GUESTS DO!
Our Guests reserve lots based on availability, description, location, pictures etc. Honoring a reservation as it was requested, confirmed and paid for is a basic Guest expectation, and one the Resort is committed to preserve and enhance.
There is currently no option to relocate a Guest at the Owner’s request, regardless of how long in advance the request was made. Per Board’s direction the Office’s ultimate goal is to have ZERO Guest relocations, unless it is requested by the Guest for a legitimate reason.
With that in mind, if you are planning on spending time in Paradise to enjoy your beautiful lot, plan ahead and remember the three basic reservation rules found in the Owners’ Portal > Rental Program for Owners > Rental Guidelines 4-10-2023 > Page 7 > Reserving your lot >
Bullet point #2: “Guests can reserve a lot up to one year in advance. Owners can reserve their lot multiple years in advance”
Bullet point #4: “When an Owner plans to be on their lot, a reservation via Staylist is required.
Bullet point #8: “It is the Owner’s responsibility to reserve or block their lot as desired. If a lot is available for rent on the reservation portal, and a Guests has reserved it for the same time the Owner plans to use it, it will be the Owner’s responsibility to make alternate arrangements.”
IS MY LOT AVAILABLE ON THE RESERVATION PORTAL!
Unless Reserved or Blocked by the Owner, rental lots are available for rent on the Reservation Portal. The ways to Reserve or Block your lot are listed in the Rental Guidelines referenced above.
DID YOU KNOW?? Every time your Coach’s RFID goes through the Resort exit, it AUTOMATICALLY opens your lot for rent on the reservation portal, and will REMAIN OPEN, until you reserve it or block it again. For example, if you had reserved your lot from July 1st thru July 30th and drove your coach out of the Resort on July 10th and came back same day, your lot automatically became available for rent from July 11th forward. In a case like this you MUST CALL the Office and request that your lot will be blocked.
