It is nice to be back in our small piece of paradise! I spent a few days in Sarasota, FL. First time on the Gulf. The water was beautiful, and the weather was amazing. The time away was long overdue. I am feeling refreshed and relaxed.

I have been trying weekly to communicate with J&S Construction in regards to our Paving project. I am trying to get the information necessary to share with everyone. I apologize that I have not had information to share yet, it is very frustrating not getting a response. As soon as I hear something I will send a separate email to everyone.

Palm Tree Trimming

Each Tree is $55. Cash or Check made payable to HHIMR Only.

The trimming will be completed July 8th – July 12th.

If you are unsure if you have palms that are in need of trimming please send us an email and we will inspect your site and send you a response of our findings.

We have come about a half dozen times now. Always a beautiful, shaded resort. We did notice some lots are not kept up like they used to be and we were told some owners don’t pay for the professional landscaping. That is a shame, as it really shows! But we love the proximity to Shops and Restaurants. My son likes biking to the Skatepark! Wish there was room for a Dog Park inside the gates! Liked having the grill at the pool! Very convenient!

Please help me welcome back Sandy Hill. She will be with us for the next 6 months working as a Resort Host.

The May 12 month Rolling Rental Trends, and the Deep Well Expenses reports have been uploaded to the owners’ website.

Happy to report that May was the first time in 13 months that the Resort had a 2.8% increase in rentals. Hope the trend continues!

Recap of the July 1^st POA Dues payment options:

Payment options Free-of-Charge ($850):

• Pay by Bank Transfer using the “Pay now” link on the email with the invoice.
• Pay from the owner’s bank account using the online banking “Bill-Pay” feature. If an account number is required, the account number is the lot number.
• Mail checks to Island Financial or pay in person at their office. Make checks payable to: HHIMR
• Mail checks to the Resort. (least preferred option).

Payment options with a 3% convenience fee ($875.50):

• Set account on auto-pay and pay by credit card. This option requires a new authorization form to be filed with Island Financial. Forms are available at the Owners’ website>Documents and Forms.
• Pay by credit card over the phone by calling Island Financial.

Happy Friday!

Last Saturday the pool had to be closed unexpectedly for a shock treatment. Sweetwater attempted Thursday and Friday to take care of the water clarity. Friday night, overnight going into Saturday, there was an algae bloom. The pool was shocked, and the pool was reopened on Sunday. By Monday the water was back to being clear.

The lagoon has been treated for mosquitos.

There are a few more pagoda lights to repair. The few remaining, all have shorted wiring in the ground.

There are no new updates from Spectrum.
