I will be out of the office from Saturday the 15th through Wednesday the 19th. Rob and I are headed to Sarasota for our overdue Honeymoon. I am confident that you are in good hands with Terrence.

The activity seating area update:

The french drain has been installed and rock has been installed alongside the pickleball fence. The contractor has some pavers to repair in a few spots. The sod and plants should begin being installed by the end of next week.

Mosquito Spraying will start on Monday the 17th after 10pm and this will be done weekly. We will have the lagoon behind phase 3 and 4 larvicide treated as well to help minimize the mosquitos on Monday.

We have hired a new Property Enhancement Supervisor. Please welcome Manny Hargrove to our team and our piece of paradise. He will be training with Terrence during his probation period and then taking over the position when ready.

The Town of Hilton Head Island and the Town of Bluffton have both adopted their FY 2024-25 budgets. Take a look at where they’re spending and what to expect on capital projects. Click  here for Hilton Head Island budget.

Remember to Vote for us.

We live, shop, eat, and play in beautiful South Carolina and we wouldn’t have it any other way. In celebration of our great communities, The Island Packet and The Beaufort Gazette are revamping the “Best of” and presenting the 2024 Lowcountry’s Best. This contest is truly designed to engage the community in celebrating the places, restaurants and local businesses we love.

FROM THE TREASURER

This past Monday 6/10, the Quarter 3 POA dues invoices were emailed to all owners who have not signed the new credit card authorization form with the 3% convenience fee.

The email was sent from “Intuit E-Commerse” with subject line “Invoice from Hilton head Island Motorcoach Resort”.

If you have not received the email in your “inbox” please check your “spam” folder. If you cannot locate it, please contact Barbara at Island Financial 843-785-4018, to confirm a valid email address is on file.

The amount due on the invoices received by email is $850, to be paid by bank transfer, online banking, or check in the mail.

If you wish to pay-by-credit and set up auto pay, simply fill out the NEW Authorization form with the 3% convenience fee, and email it to: ‘barbara@islandfinancialhhi.com’, by July 1st. The form is attached below and can also be found on the Owners’ website>Documents & Forms.

Please remember that If you call Island Financial to pay-by-phone, even if you use a debit card, because the use of a PIN is not an option, the over the phone payment can only be processed as a credit card and consequently will be subject to the 3% convenience fee.

The Q3 POA Dues are due on JULY 1ST.

Please submit any questions regarding the new invoices or the available payment options via direct line.

Happy Friday!

DHEC performed an inspection of the pool. The pool was closed briefly on Monday afternoon by DHEC because the chlorine reading was a bit high. It was a cloudy and cooler day then expected, that’s the reason for the higher then normal readings. Sweetwater was notified and the adjustment was made. The pool was re-opened shortly after it was closed. No other issues were found and the pool will be re-inspected sometime in July.

I am still going thru phases checking pagoda lights.

Wendy and I talked with Spectrum this week. We will be having more meetings in the upcoming weeks with Spectrum Maintenance and Engineering Departments discussing different solutions. We will keep you updated during the upcoming weeks.

Monday morning the dog park will be closed until 1pm. I will be spraying the disinfectant again. Due to the lack of rain, it needs to be treated once a week.

Have a great weekend and safe travels!

I apologize for the confusion in last weeks postings. I would like to have the pictures and ranks of those that are currently ENLISTED in the our armed forces. I would like to do a special recognition for Fourth of July. Please email them to me by Friday the 21st.

Thank you!

Make sure you celebrate those dads this weekend! We will be having ice cream sundaes at the pool on sunday the 16th. Stop on by and satisfy that sweet tooth!

We still have room for more coaches to be washed. Remember to call or stop by the office and add your name to the list by Friday the 21st.
