Happy Friday everyone! The weather is beautiful and looks like we are free from rain this coming week.

Spectrum will be in the resort conducting maintenance on the equipment, you will experience intermittent signal interruption with WIFI and Cable.

Pickleball court update

We have reached out to the vendor on the repair of court 1 this week. We are waiting for a response on the start date.

The Greenery is expected to start construction on the activities seating area Monday the 15th. Please remember to refer all questions to the management staff and not interrupt the vendor.

We had a complaint that the pools were too hot this week. When the heaters were inspected, we found they had been turned up to 90 degrees. Please do not adjust any of the pool heaters, this is only to be monitored by Mark and the appropriate vendors. Thank you for your cooperation.

Kelly and Jeff Galbraith have left and headed home this week. They are welcoming their first grandchild this summer.

Great place to stay very clean and nice amenities.

Amazing stay, The most beautiful RV resort/park there is, people at the guesthouse by the gate are amazing the guys driving us to the spots are amazing, don’t even try to play pickle ball on the courts if you do not know what you are doing, people playing on the court can be very rude, the man that teaches the lessons is very kind but people jjst playing don’t need to take it so seriously. The pool is amazing, the little food hut by the pool is amazing and the people that work it are amazing, wifi does not work really at all, Rv spots are very nice!

Hilton Head is great, but this resort is truly a gem. Very well maintained and you feel like you’re in Hawaii or tropical resort. Wendy and staff truly go the distance to make you feel at home. Very well ran operation. Pool is heated and lots of activities from basketball to pickle ball and shuffleboard! Can’t wait to go back with the family on our next vacation. Thank you!

From the Board

• During the recent Owners’ Q&A session a request was made to provide an easy to read combined report of the most recent two years of actual income & expenses next to the following year’s budget. The reports have been uploaded to the Owners’ portal and can be found under Financial Reports>2024 Financial Reports>POA P&L 2022-2023 vs Budget 2024 and LLC P&L 2022-2023 vs Budget 2024.

• As anticipated, the new Accounting firm Carey & Co engaged on 2/5/2024 did not have sufficient time to review, prepare and file the Resort’s Tax Returns prior to the April 15 deadline. IRS and S.C. extensions have been filed for both entities.

• Two invoices from the Acoustical Engineering firm “Arpeggio” were received late and were not captured in the Deep Well expenses March report. A revised report has been uploaded to the owners’ portal.

Tuesday April 16th from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, we will be turning off water valves in Phases 1, 2 and 3 for marking and testing. You will experience water loss several times during the test. Thank You for your patience and understanding. Guests are being notified during the check-in process. An email will also be sent Tuesday morning.

4 new pendent lights have been installed over the counter in the upstairs Clubhouse. The switch has been labeled.

Up lighting will be installed next week in and around the pool area. Pics will be posted next week!

PLEASE DO NOT relocate the turtles back to the lake. You will see the females on the roads over the next few weeks. They are looking for a spot to lay eggs. Moving them back to the lake will harm the eggs and the momma.

Book club was moved from the 11th to Wednesday the 17th in the downstairs clubhouse at 4:30.

Bike rides have been postponed, Dick Barris and Tom Snyder are unable to lead these at this time.

Don’t Forget that taxes are due on April 15th and then join us on Tuesday the 16th for the End of Tax Season Party!
