Four days down and 2 more to go at the Florida RV Super Show. I have learned so much and have seen so many beautiful coaches. We have met many people that did not know about us, much less know that Hilton Head Island was located in South Carolina. I saw many other resorts represented at the show, but in my own opinion they did not even compare to what we offer. This has been an amazing experience and I look forward to representing the resort in future shows.

DUE TO THE EXPECTED FREEZING TEMPERATURE THE RESORT-PROVIDED WATER WILL BE SHUT OFF PER THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE:

SATURDAY 1-20-24 @5PM UNTIL SUNDAY 1-21-24 @10AM

SUNDAY 1-21-24 @5PM UNTIL MONDAY 1-22-24 @10AM

IT IS ADVISED THAT YOU FILL YOUR WATER TANKS BEFOREHAND

CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES INCLUDING THE BATHROOMS, SHOWERS AND LAUNDRY WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE DURING THE SHUT-OFF PERIODS.

Today, Governor Henry McMaster announced this year’s South Carolina Chef Ambassadors and Bluffton’s Leslie Rohland was named as one of three state-wide chefs to be a part of the prestigious program. She is the owner and founder of The Cottage Café, Bakery & Tea Room, The Juice Hive, the Bluffton Pasta Shoppe, and May River Coffee Roasters. Happy Friday!

Last week I forgot to mention that a 2″ water pipe broke. It was located in the parking lot for the clubhouse near the pool entrance. Tree roots pushing the pipe caused the break. Water had to be turned off for about 90 minutes to make the repair. Thank you Jay Hawk and John Brodie for your response.

Reminder that all irrigation should be shut off. Please email maintenance@hhimr.com if you need assistance.

This coming week we will get a few of the pagoda lights that require running new wire. There are 5 total.
