From October 27th through November 1st, our site owners at Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort gathered for one of our favorite annual traditions: Fall Owners Week! From golf outings and pickleball tournaments to food trucks and boat cruises, we had a wonderful time gathering with all of the wonderful folks that call our community home. Check out some of our favorite memories below.
Golf Outing
On Tuesday, golfers of all skill levels teed off for a fun-filled golf outing hosted by the Beck family at nearby Old South Golf Course. Nothing beats a morning tee time in Hilton Head, where the sport first planted its American roots over 200 years ago.
Food Truck & Street Festival
Later that evening, we welcomed a variety of local food trucks and street vendors to our resort for a community Food Truck & Street Festival. Delicious treats, fresh produce, and priceless memories were enjoyed by all!
Shuffleboard Tournament
After Wednesday’s breakfast gathering, our community’s best shufflers converged for a spirited Shuffleboard Tournament. Congratulations to each of our winners, pictured above with their medals!
Salty Dog Cruise
After some friendly competition, it was time to kick back, sip something sweet, and enjoy the ocean breeze aboard a cruise at nearby Salty Dog Cafe. Dozens of seafaring site owners from our community climbed aboard for a relaxing ride around the harbor.
Hot Dog Dinner & Trivia Night
Wednesday’s fun didn’t stop there! Our seafarers and landlubbers alike gathered together at the Clubhouse that evening for an all-American Hot Dog Dinner, followed by a brain-busting Trivia Night hosted by the Becks.
Sunrise Bike Ride
Rise and shine! We were right back at it the very next morning with a scenic Sunrise Bike Ride around the island, led by Dick Barriss: the perfect way to get the blood flowing while enjoying some beautiful morning views.
Co-ed Pickleball Tournament
As our cyclers set out on their adventure, our racquet sport enthusiasts were warming up for some spirited matches. Men and women paired up to compete in our Co-Ed Pickleball Tournament for the chance to win prizes and bragging rights, with all proceeds from their entry fees donated to the Hilton Head Humane Association.
Legendary Golf Putt Putt
For those who weren’t ready to take on 18 holes at Old South earlier in the week, we had a more relaxed golf outing in store! Our best mini golfers gathered at nearby Legendary Golf for a friendly putt-putt tournament with plenty of twists, turns, and obstacles along the way.
