Make a Splash This Summer: Water Weekend Events

Hilton Head Island Water Weekend Events

Sunset on Hilton Head Island

The weather is heating up on the island and so is the fun! If you’re planning your summer escape, consider joining these July weekend events. Sites are filling fast, reserve your site today.

Beaufort Water Festival
Dive into the excitement this July with the 60th annual Beaufort Water Festival, July 17 – 26. The festival hosts multiple daily events including fishing tournaments, shrimp boat tours, raft races, and a sailing regatta. If you’d rather stay on dry land, there’s an array events for you too! Challenge your friends at the bocce tournament, stroll through the arts and crafts market or simply relax and enjoy the live entertainment. This year’s featured performer, Neal McCoy, kicks things off with a concert in the park on Saturday night, July 18.

Did we mention kids’ events? The children’s toad fishing tournament is sure to please, and the Sunday night teen dance is the biggest summer party around.

Wet & Wild Weekend
Book your stay July 11 – 12 for a Wet and Wild Weekend at Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort. Step right outside of your coach and head to the recreation center for a weekend of poolside fun in the sun. Get ready for a good time with water balloon catapults and games like pool bingo. Then, unwind with a soak in the heated spa.

Jet Ski on Hilton Head Island

Atlantic Adventures Anytime
Just one mile from Atlantic beaches, guests at Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort are only a 15-minute walk from the sand and shores of South Carolina. If biking is more your pace, simply ask the resort staff about free delivery for bike rentals. Pick up your bike and hit the path to the beach. Once there, you can take in the sights by land or jump into the surf by renting a boat or Jet Ski from one of many local vendors.
